This Livejounal thing; I have one!
I check my friends list several times a day still; I just don't do this whole post thing much.
I got a new job! I'm going to be doing tech support for a group in the Army. I shall be starting it next Monday, so only 5 days left at Directv. Out of the 11 jobs I've had it has been by far the most stressful. I can talk shit about it all I want but I bet most things I'd have to say would apply to any cable company, so I still say just go without one, totally not worth it.

"Auto-tune the News" is a pretty awesome thing. These guys take news clips and apply the "auto-tune" effect, which auto-corrects the pitch of the audio (think the rapper T-Pain). Then they edit everything and put a beat to it to produce something amazing:

I love these guys. they are a weird beck-esque band called "Why?". I downloaded their album on 4chan's /mu/ the other day and it has been constantly in my cd player since.
Also almost done with Final Fantasy XII finally (more than 3/4ths, I think)! XIII is going to be the last cool sounding number. "Final Fantasy Fourteen" just sounds goofy. I think they should go to secondary titles like "Final Fantasy: The Magicite Wars" or something like that (but that's only me).
Next up I'm going to play Persona 3 FES. It looks pretty awesome and I liked the bit of the normal P3 I played.
I've also played a craaaap ton of Braid. I've beaten it twice through and going through my third because I just found out some other secret things in the game. I think this and Portal are two of the greatest story-telling games I've ever played. Hoo ha! |

So Braid is pretty much the most amazing game I've ever played.
It looks like a silly platformer at first, but it has some of the most fun and frustrating puzzles I've ever came across and it has an AMAZING story. It'll take about 3 hours to beat it on the first go, and it's around 15 bux. It's been out on Xbox for a while but just got put out on PC last week. Play it! |
